About

I am a Los Angeles based designer - with 12 years experience working across digital and physical product design and branding.

For the past ten years I’ve worked as an human interface designer in the field of connected product design, specializing in wireless audio products. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the best designers in the world, and I thrive in a curious and collaborative design team.

Philosophy

I firmly believe that Value to User = Value to Business. A brand’s product thrives only when it meets a cultural tension strong enough to create demand and relevance. That starts with a deep understanding of the target user, clear alignment with stakeholders, rigorous and unbiased testing of hypotheses, and the willingness to pivot when needed. It means embracing both data and intuition—crunching the numbers, learning from the field, and trusting your gut. When delivering the product, it’s making sure we maintain not only the kernel of the idea - but it’s emotional resonance. 

At its core, a product should be simple in purpose, beautiful in execution, and true to the values of its brand.

Lead HI Designer - Home, Beats and Ecosystem
5. 2021 — 7. 2024 / Culver City, CA.

– HI DRI for True Wireless products: Delivery of Beats Fit Pro, Beats Studio Buds and Beats Solo Buds to market. Creation of detailed UX specifications and prototypes to guide engineering.

– Collaborated with iOS engineers on integrated iOS features.

– UX and Visual Design DRI for the Beats App for Android - launched in 36 languages across the worls.

– Daily collaboration with internal and distributed EE, HW, SW and QA engineering teams on all aspects of Beats products.



Lead HI Designer - Beats by Dre Product Marketing
8. 2017 — 5. 2021 / London, UK & Culver City, CA.

— Managed a team of 5 designers for the UI/UX design of the Beats App for Android.

— UX for True Wireless products: Delivery of PowerBeats Pro,  Beats Solo Pro and Beats Flex to market.
 
– Collaborated daily with Product management to determine trends, technologies and behaviors in the audio marketplace.

– Led design strategy for all Beats product ranges, covering everything from planning product ranges to out-of-box experience and daily use.

– Led in-home interviews across APAC, EMEA, and the U.S. to uncover how music fits into daily life—delivering key brand opportunities and insights to executive leadership.

BCGDV - Led the 0→1 UI design of Shell Accuport, a real-time platform enabling ship owners to track lubricant usage—streamlining logistics, cutting costs, and optimizing global inventory flow.
